So Good. *sigh* Kenyon is definitely one of my favorite authors. If you like tragically misunderstood hunks you'll probably fall in love with this story's main character, Nykyrian. Put in an orphanage and badly mistreated from a young age this hero finds himself living the life of an assassin. After all he's been through he still knows the difference between right and wrong. Slowly as the story progresses we learn more and more about the elusive and complex man named Nykyrian, AKA Nemesis. Set in a fictional world with other planet interaction. Romance, mystery, and a lot of action infuse this novel.
For those of you wondering this series has been modified and tweaked from it's original form. It is now in the form Kenyon originally foresaw because she was able to combine all the books (the first three original books) under one publisher and let the characters flow from one book to the next without appearing to be completely different stand alone books. Scenes originally deleted by editors have now found their rightful place back in series. Did I mention I'm hooked?
