Jean-Claude needs to defend his territory in this book and those who wish to take over want not just the city, but control of Anita as well. Anita will finally be made into a vampire servant, but you'll have to read the story to find out whose she becomes. We are also introduced to Richard. I mean what series would be complete without a love triangle? Jammed pack with action, flame throwers, fight scenes, vampire children and snake like creatures. WOW! What fun.
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
