Archangel's Consort (Guild Hunter, #3) by Nalini Singh
Elena has proved that even though she's weak from her transformation from human to angel she's still a force to be reckoned with, but some angel's just don't ever learn. One of the ancient's is awakening and it may very well be Raphael's mom. Yes, just when Elena's thought she'd gotten away without having to deal with any in-laws wouldn't you know it? Raphael's mom just might have to check out his new consort. Elena just can't catch a break. lol The problem in this book is that while Raphael's mom may have gone crazy before she disappeared and decided to go basically into hibernation there are no guarantees she may not still be crazy when she wakes up. Vamps are going crazy and giving in to blood lust and Raphael's mother may have something to do with it. The big question - Is it worth waiting to find out if the self induced coma Raphael's mother put herself in has healed her or should they try to find and kill her before she completely awakens before the task becomes almost impossible?
Another 5 out of 5 angel wings, er, stars for Nalini Singh. Thank you Ms. Singh for another highly entertaining and delightful book. Highly recommend this series. :)
